The Caulfield District Holiday Activity Centre

The land was cleared and levelled not far from the front gate of the 120-acre Scout Camp property. The property had been owned by Caulfield District Scouts for many years. Caulfield District Scouts was thriving.

Countless volunteer hours went into the consultation, planning, building and final fit-out of the new Centre. Its design included facilities for sleeping, catering, ablutions and multi-purpose activity space both indoors and under the verandahs outdoor.

The Cub Leaders of the District were eagerly awaiting their turn to take Cubs (aged 8-10 years) for a weekend Pack Holiday. Scouts, Venturers, Rovers ready for more camping and activities. But first the grand opening on February 19/20, 1983
